These banks are located almost every city and village of korea. But some banks are local bank and they have very limited branch in south korea. 5man won 오만 원(o-man won)- It is the highest currency and its a paper money. It is slightly red in colour. The lady in 5 man won is 신사임당.신사임당 is known as wise caring loving mom and a good wife.
10000 won 만 원(man won)- It is the second biggest paper money in South Korea. It is slightly green in colour. Man won note has a picture of a man who is very famous in Korea.his name is king sejong세종 대왕. king Sejong created hangul.
5000 won오천원(o Cheon-won)- It is the third biggest note in Korea.Its little brownish in colour. The man printed in 5000 won cash is 율곡 이이. He is from (조선) josan dynasty. He is the son of 신사임당(the lady printed on the 50,000won note).
1000won천원(Cheon-won)- Its the least big paper money.Its blueish in colour. The person attached in 1000 won note is 퇴계 이황.
500 won 오 백원(0-baek-won).- It is the biggest coin in South Korea.
100won 백원(baek-won).- It is the second biggest coin in South Korea. There are still 50 won 10 won used in Korea but in daily life, they don't carry this for the monetary transaction because its like valueless money.
